On our way back to Xi'an, Katie and I stopped in Beijing for a few days, staying with our friends Frances and Alex (as well as their houseguest Tommy). We visited a number of sights we missed last time, including Beihai Park, Lama Temple, and Dongyue, a Taoist temple with displays for all 76 departments of Taoism's excessively bureaucratic hell.
